Choosing Your Song
Before registering for the performance event, make sure you and your teacher have agreed on the best song, version, and key for that song.
Once you have agreed on the correct song, version and key, you will need to submit your backing track to us. You are welcome to use the following instructions as a guide:
- Find a version of an instrumental track you prefer on youtube.
- Copy the url in your browser.
- Visit: http://www.youtube-mp3.org/, and copy the link into the box, and download.
- If you and your teacher are happy with the key as is, send us that version.
- To adjust the songs key, speak with your teacher before submitted your track.
Performance Fees: Track
FREE for backing track/self accompaniment. Please email your backing track to firstname.lastname@example.org by November 21, AT THE LATEST. Private 30 mins performance coaching session to work on presence, movement, and style is available by our guest performance coaching team Andrew Briol & Nevon. Please ask at the front desk as we are taking names to schedule the performance coaching according to demand.
Please note: We will not be offering a live band option for the summer performance due to the unavailability of our band members as a result of their busy gigging season. With the new venue, we will be experimenting with a single instrument accompaniment, and track line-up only. A baby grand piano will be available for accompaniment and performance.
