It will be held at the beautiful Spadina Theatre, located at 24 Spadina Rd.
How do I know if I’m good enough to perform?
Whether you’re a complete beginner or a seasoned pro, everyone is encouraged to perform! We have a very welcoming and supporting community.
What if I don’t know what song I want to perform yet?
No problem, you can still register to secure your spot, and let us know later what song you’ll be performing! Your coach can help you select and perfect a song in your lesson.
How do I create a backing track?
Your coach can actually help you prepare a backing track in your lesson! Performances are limited to 3 minutes each, so they can help you edit your track to eliminate long intros, outros, and repeating choruses. The track can then be submitted as an mp3 to office@singersedge.com. If you’re performing an original song, the time limit is extended to 5 minutes!
You also have the option to accompany yourself or bring your own accompanist. A baby grand piano and guitar will be available at the venue.
What is the fee?
If you’re a current student, performances are completely free to participate in and invite people to!
How many people can I invite?
As many as you’d like! The venue seats 150 people, so the more the merrier. It’s free to attend, and you don’t need any tickets.
Coaches have chosen hour time blocks that they’ll be at the venue, so spaces are limited and run out fast. Be sure to register now to book your spot in your Coach’s block!
