January Singing Classes Pre-Registration

We will be opening registration on Monday December 9th from 1pm–4pm and closing Wednesday December 17th or January enrollment, private lessons and classes starting Saturday, January 4th.
- Each group class is $55/mo, billed on the 1st of the month and runs for the winter term which is January 4th through end of April, 2014.
- If you are an active member on a private lesson plan, you can register for ONE class complimentary as part of your plan! Any additional classes require class tuition payment.
- Bear in mind that registration closes for current students once classes begin. We can’t allow any unregistered drop-ins for any classes, with the exception of weekly Karaoke, so registration is essential.
- Note that we have now opened monday evenings for private vocal technique lessons as well. If you are looking for a prime-time peak-period slot, this is your opportunity! Lesson times and availability for peak periods are extremely limited and are only available on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Private songwriting coaching sessions are available thursday afternoons on a lesson plan. Contact the studio if you would like to book these.
- Each group class has a maximum of 10 spaces and a minimum of 6 registrations to keep the class open, so make sure you register to secure your spot. If we don’t have the minimum of 6 registrations, we won’t be able to offer the class – so it’s essential that you register.
If your membership is currently inactive, there is a $25 registration to activate your registration for the classes. For any new registrations for either group or private lessons and classes made monday, you will receive our book book on singing, complimentary!

Mondays 6:30-7:30 – Intro To Music For Singing.
Singers require a specific knowledge of music theory as it relates to singing. In this class, we investigate music theory and music structure, rhythm and phrasing, basic keyboard skills, and patterns used in riffing.
Tuesdays 12:30-1:30 – Lunch Hour Workout.
Use your break from your job to get your voice in shape! This class is for all levels. We will examine different practice techniques, group singing, and vocal workout in a group setting. Lots of exercises to keep your voice, fit, free, and healthy. There will be opportunties for solo singing in front of the group.
Tuesdays 6:30-7:30 – Beginners Singing.
This group class is designed with the beginner in mind. If you are new to singing and want to learn the ins and outs of great technique in a supportive, group environment, this is the place. With a group of beginning level of singers you will explore the full range of your voice. We will look at how your voice works, how to choose appropriate songs, and basic harmony.
Wednesdays 6:30-7:30 – Background Singing and Vocal Harmonies.
This class is perfect for students looking to move into professional singing, develop their musical ear and/or bring their pitch accuracy to a whole new level. We begin with simpler group harmonies and progress towards more complex harmonies in preparation for our Winter Showcase in March.
Thursday 7:30-9:00pm – Karaoke.
This class is open to all active members and does not require registration. Our karaoke night is now a weekly event! It’s meant for every level of singer. This is your chance to build on your vocal lessons and transform your stage skills. All you need is an idea of a few songs you want to sing for us. Check out our Karaoke Hosted by Uturn page.
Saturdays 12:00-1:00pm – Youth Stage Skillz.
This class is where you’ll find our latest 17 and under talents bolstering their stage skills with our expert coaches. Each class, each singer will get a chance to strut their stuff and sing their heart out in front of the group! Check our Youth Stage page for more info!
Saturdays 4:00-5:00pm – Performance Power.
In this class, we take a look at performance issues and performance foundations. You will learn about mic technique, projecting a strong but authentic stage presence, leading a band, choosing the right songs, and dealing with stage fright.

How To Register

1) Login to our secure system for currently registered students at the studio. If your membership is active, but it’s your first time logging in, select “I don’t know my password” and your password will be emailed to the email we have on file for you. If you have never registered with us , visit our “Booking Lessons” page to get setup in our system.
